Application of ER Film Evaporation Controller to plastic concrete forms a mono molecular film on the surface that reduces moisture loss during windy conditions by 80% and direct sunlight by 40%. Slowing evaporation during hot and/or windy conditions provides additional working time and eliminates the need for extra water in the mix to compensate for evaporative loss on the job site. The benefits of ER Film Evaporation Controller should remain as long as the concrete is plastic. Floating and troweling are not detrimental to the film.
